This is a podcast unlike any other! Our hope as podcast hosts is to normalize the discussions around struggles with eating disorders, mental health & emotional growth. Topics range in coverage from body image to effective communication with over a hundred topics in between and more to come!
We are not therapists, just two chicks trying to start the conversations around destigmatizing our discussed topics.
We want to broaden our listeners level of understanding around the specifics of eating disorders to be able to identify various negative traits and characteristics both in themselves and in others. In addition, we hope to provide you with possible ways to both acknowledge and counteract them in a positive way that benefits your wellbeing.
This podcast openly discusses the importance of positive mental health, while acknowledging both the highs and the lows. By identifying both positive and negative patterns in ourselves using our episodes as a guide, we hope to change your outlook on life and encourage you to fulfill your mental health needs to the fullest.
With our help, we work with you to help shift your idealizations and expectations surrounding your bodies' weight and/or shape. This podcast can help you to look at yourself in the mirror and not only deem yourself acceptable, but believe that you are worth it regardless of the way you are shaped our how much you weigh.
The focus of emotional growth in this podcast acknowledges where you are at presently in an unbiased way, acknowledges where you would like to be, and helps you to understand and accept that only you can get yourself there at your own pace. It may not be at the ideal pace that you would like, but when you get there, it is so worth it!
